Arizona's Top 10 Best Hunting Spots
to Draw a Tag for Deer Hunting in 2007
Congratulations, you have found the secret list of Arizona's Top 10
List of White Tail, Coues and Mule Deer hunting spots for 2007.
Our Top 10 Deer Hunting Spots 2007 Forecast is based on 2006
deer hunting Statistics compiled by the Arizona Game & Fish Department.
We use each of the statistics below to build an overall index of where
we think the best opportunities exist to get drawn and successfully kill a
deer in Arizona.
The index is broken into three categories: white-tailed deer, mule deer
and coues deer. The white-tailed deer is actually noted in the Arizona
Hunting Regulations as any antlered deer category. Mule deer and coues deer
should be self-explanatory.
There are no statistics that we know of that are published archery deer
successful harvest rates. Accordingly, the 2007 archery forecast simply uses
rifle hunting statistics and tells hunters to buy an over the counter tag and
hunt the same areas earlier in the season. Same applies for the second archery
season during the rut.
